"My boyfriend and I come here all the time. Although it's not big, it is very nice and clean with plenty of tables to dine in. The food is always great and fairly priced. The service is amazing. Everyone who works there is very kind. I truly recommend this place if you are in the area or an Adelphi student. As for rolls, the Adelphi roll, Redhead roll and 100A roll are delicious. Plenty of parking spots as well and the area is nice for a walk around."

"My family and I took my father to a casual dinner here. We had been here once already and enjoyed it so much, we had to come back! Plenty of parking in the back. But back to the restaurant! The atmosphere is very relaxed. All kinds of people come in, from an old couple to a small group of four friends. I ordered something simple--the illusion salmon. But what I saw and ate was a delicious display of fresh salmon. The special dishes are extraordinarily beautiful! You have to check it out for yourself!"

"They are one of the best sushi restaurants I have ever been to!! We dined inside and the vibe was really cozy and peaceful. They have plenty of outdoor dining space and there’s a huge parking lot in the back. We ordered hibachi steak, chicken ramen, 100A roll, and Adelphi roll. Hibachi steak and ramen were alright, not too bad and nothing extraordinary. Ramen just felt like regular noodles to me. Sushi on the other hand was the best!! Totally loved it! I would definitely love to try the other rolls on their menu. Staff was super friendly and the service was quick. Their prices are also reasonable according to the portions. I’ll definitely recommend this place for sushi."

"I dine at Taku on 7th Street in Garden City on an average of two times a week. The service is excellent and the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about the wonderful menu. I have dietary restrictions and there is never a problem with accommodating these restrictions. All the servers and the manager have made helpful suggestions for my choices many times. The sushi chefs are so talented and creative that they surprise me each time with delicious sushi rolls that are practically works of art. I leave it up to them and they create rolls and appetizers that are totally safe for me to eat and are incredibly delicious. I highly recommend Taku to anyone and it is definitely my "go to" place with family and friends who always enjoy the food, the warm friendly staff and the comfortable setting as much as I do."

"Nice atmosphere in in a small 40 seat dining room. The portions are a bit too large, however maintain qualify. Chef note, the soups could be updated for broth flavor, the eggplant and tofu needs a sauce update. The nassau sushi is perfect. The shrimp tempura is perfect and the fry oil is Fresh! The owner is very attentive to the restaurant operation. I will return."
